Jersey School
Designer Notes You’ll Actually Use
- Test it in black and white first—no color tricks hiding weak contrast or uneven spacing.
- Check small-size readability on real mockups: print a 12pt sample on your intended label stock or view it on an actual phone screen—not just in Figma.
- Compare uppercase vs. lowercase use side-by-side in your layout. The uppercase has more presence; the lowercase needs breathing room.
- Review spacing carefully—especially around punctuation and between ‘T’, ‘L’, and ‘F’. Adjust tracking manually if needed.
- Try it beside a classic serif font (for contrast in editorial layouts), a neutral sans serif (for balance in web design), a relaxed script font (for wedding or lifestyle work), and another display font (to confirm Jersey School isn’t competing unnecessarily).
- Confirm commercial licensing before using in client work, digital products, or any revenue-generating design assets—this is a premium font, and its license reflects that.
